I got mine to work, but barely. I'm not sure what it was that I did that got it working, but I do hope a update is put out soon, I feel that future wordpress updates will cause just as many problems, and I really don't want to lose that functionality again.

hey,
just in case the link I sent you didn't arrive,
lookest at this: http://digg.com/software/How_Pages_are_different_in_WP_2_1

moshu (wp moderator guy on forums) said
As for your question: I guess you gave yourself the answer. The plugin interferes with the normal flow of the Pages. Only the plugin author would be able to fix it.

Simply: that plugin, or the version you are using, is not compatible with WP 2.1. It has to be updated, as many other plugins.
--------

did you have any success fiddling with the code?
I haven't :7

in case my comment doesn't reach kates, here for you to check and pursue:

concerning faustina's and my issue of having pages getting eaten only when the plugin is activated, I think I found something interesting:
<a>how pages are different in 2.1</a>

but my plugin development skills are shazam, so kates I hope you can have a go :))
cheers

since I cant send you mails (returns errors / 404),
I will post it here:

I noticed your comment on the sideblog plugin at kates,
you said your pages dont show in the new version and return a 404.

I got the same.

found any fix yet?

cheers,
jez

Hi kates,
thanks for your work so far!

the solution you came up with [activating the category for asides under fixed the options tab] fixes the errors on the main site (php/sql errors),
but still with my wordpress 2.1 and your 3.6er sideblog plugin activated,
<b>pages are hidden and return a 404</b>,

if I deactivate the plugin,
they are right back and show.

any clue?

cheers and thanks in advance,
yours,
jez

I saw your post over on the WP forums. I had the same issue, and come to find out it was the Post Level plugin. Once I turned it off, all was back to normal. So be sure to check your plugins. Hope that will help you! :)
